Circle quilt completed

A UFO from July 2009. Circle quilt made with some of my favorite Paula Prass Flights of Fancy line. The border is also one of my favorites, Kona cotton in Bahama Blue.

Quilt Stats:
    Pattern: Circle tutorial from here, 1" white sashing around circle block, 2.5" blue sashing,
                1.5" white sashing , 7" blue border. Kona black for binding.
    Backing: Frosted  pink fabric (too hard to photograph)

Baby quilt for Finn

A commissioned quilt for Wendy to give to neighbors who recently adopted a baby boy.

      Pattern: fussy cut wonky stars made with 3.5" squares , free pieced letters
                   2.5" sashing on sides
      Backing:  Blue dot minkee
      Size: Approximately 30"x37"
      Started: January 10, 2012
                   top started and finished on 1/10/12 , machine quilted on 1/10/12
                   binding added on 1/12/12
      Finished:  January 13, 2012

 Started January 7, 2012 and finished January 8, 2012. Yup, did the cross stitch in a day :).Pillow size is 12"x16".

Such an easy, simple quilt that I decided to make one for myself but instead of a flannel back, I used minkee. Ummm, I love this quilt! Finished quilt measures 57" x57". Started January 6, 2012, finished January 7, 2012.

Mali's birthday quilt

2011 was a rough year for Mali. I thought she needed an oversized "baby blanket" for those days when you just needed to hide under a quilt. The quilt top is a simple patchwork of 10" squares of 7 different flannel fabrics. The backing is all flannel as well as the binding resulting in a super soft "blankie". The finished quilt measures approximately 57"x57". Started January 3, 2012 and finished January 4, 2012.
